I had a conversation with one of you yesterday that I want to turn right back around and share with the rest as encouragement. I have noticed several of you have been inviting friends to youth and praying for them. This is awesome! Sometimes it might feel like nothing is happening (or something is getting in the way). Honestly, even Pastor Tim and I sometimes leave wondering if what we shared really reached people’s hearts. So you are not alone. Remember this though! Jesus said, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14) So be bold. Don’t hide your faith, don’t be quiet about the hope you have, and don’t be afraid to pray for your friends. Intercede for them. Stand in the gap for them. Let your life show that you are not afraid of the darkness around you. We live in a dark and distracted world that has lost sight of who God really is. For some of your friends, you may be the only light they ever see. Burn Bright!
