Jesus never promised His followers an easy road. In fact, He promised that trials and sorrows would come. That’s important because when life gets difficult, it doesn’t mean God has abandoned us or that we’ve somehow taken a wrong turn. Struggle is part of living in a broken world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But Jesus didn’t stop with the warning. He followed it with a promise: “Take heart, because I have overcome the world.” These words were spoken just before His arrest and crucifixion, when everything looked darkest. Jesus knew the cross was coming, but He also knew the resurrection was coming. Whatever challenge you’re facing today, remember that our hope is not in our circumstances, but in the One who has already won the victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
May your week be without fear, your heart be filled with peace, your mind fixed on Christ, and your eyes open to see His hand at work around you. May you walk in courage, faith, and hope, knowing that Jesus has overcome the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
